The following tutorial is dedicated to creating scenes within a virtual experience. In a project Speedernet Sphere, you can create as many scenes as necessary. Each scene will include a 360 photo or video panorama. Here is how to do.
Creation of the scene
Add a scene
To do so, click on the “add a scene” button.
The scenes will be added one after the other, and will appear vertically in the order they were created.
Add a media
This step consists of associating a media (or panorama) to the scene: a 360 photo or video. To do so, click on the “add media” button. You then have two possibilities:
- Select your media from your computer by clicking on the “new media” button
- Or click on “existing media” to add a media who has already been imported to the Media Manager
Name the scene
Naming a scene helps you in identifying the different scenes of your experience, especially when you have several. Name them carefully, it will make it even easier to identify them. To do so:
- Click on the “scene” field
- Enter a name
Repeat this every time you create a scene.
Entering a scene
In this step, you will enrich and add interactivity to your scene thanks to the Composition mode. To do so:
- Click on “Open scene editing” or double click on the scene
Modification of the scene
Select initial scene
Your experience always starts with the scene you define as initial scene. You can identify the initial scene thanks to the yellow flag, from the project view (Home). By default, the initial scene is always the first scene you added.
You can change the initial scene at any time by clicking on the grey flag next to the scene you want to define as initial.
Replace a panorama
To replace a panorama:
- Select the panorama to replace
- Mouse over the scene and click on “Replace panorama”
The panorama will be automatically updated.
Deleting a scene
To delete a scene that is no longer used, click on the “delete” button.
You cannot delete the initial scene of your experiment.
When you delete a scene, you also delete all the elements that were associated to it (aspects and conditionals). Media (sound, images, videos, etc.) that you used in the scene will still be available from the Media Manager.
Now that you know how to add scenes, it is time for you to create your first experience. We invite you to check the tutorial on “how to: create a first experience step by step”.
