You can access information related to the size of the sphere and the height of the grid at the creation of a scene in Speedernet Sphere, via the tab "File", then "Preferences".
When the "Preferences" window opens, click on the "Scene" tab (1) to edit it.
You can also change the scene settings of your project:
- The size of the sphere (2)
- The height of the grid (3)
The size of the sphere (2):
The diameter of the sphere is 1000 meters by default. Which means that the size of the scene is very large. Depending on your needs, you can change this size.
Adjust the size of the sphere either by clicking and dragging the bar, or by entering the size of the sphere directly into the field. You can check the change by entering a scene and activating the "3D View".
The smaller the size of the sphere, the less noticeable the depth effect.
The height of the grid (3):
The grid is a guide that allows you to place your elements correctly in a scene. It is positioned thanks to two levels:
- "0": place the grid at the eye level of the user
- "-1.60": place the grid at ground level
By default this grid is set to "0". All objects you place below this grid will be displayed below the user's eyes and vice versa. To change the height of the grid, simply click on one of the two levels.
If you want to revert to the default Speedernet Sphere settings, you can click the Reset button in the Scene preferences. (4)
When you have finished making the changes, click on "Apply" then "Ok" to validate the changes.
