The "Advanced animations" tool allows you to animate elements of a project.
You can define animations for a 2D or a 3D object.
Accessing the advanced animations
You can access this tool in two different ways.
- From the "More options" icon located in the element column > Advanced animations
- From the parameters of an element
Create an advanced animation
When you open the advanced animations window for the first time, an animation is created automatically.
You can also create new animations.
Use the "Create a new animation" button, located at the bottom of the window, to create a new animation and edit it directly. (01)
Use the drop-down list (02) to navigate between the created animations.
Setting up an animation
01 The list of animations for your element.
You can also rename your animation (01), duplicate it (02) and delete it (03).
04 The target of the animation.
This allows you to define the target for the animation. Your target can be the whole element (all aspects) or a particular aspect.
05 The destination parameters allow you to define the animation you want for the element. You can define an absolute or relative destination per animation.
Absolute destination: This defines the destination of the element in space.
Select the parameters you want to adjust by the animation by checking the box in front of Position, Rotation, Scale and/or Opacity.
You can enter the values directly in one of the fields of the x, y or z axis.
You can also use the preview mode (06).
This feature allows you to manually define the desired animation using the positioning tools from the "360° View" or the "3D View". Your modifications will impact all the axes of the element.
You can validate the animation by clicking the validate button or cancel it.
Relative destination: This defines a destination for the element regarding its own position.
Click the "Relative" button to activate it.
In the Relative mode, the "0" values will have no impact on the animation, so you can choose to impact only certain axes.
07 Allows you to define the motion interpolation for the animation you have created.
Depending on your needs, you can:
- define whether the animation can be played once, several times or infinitely
- set the duration of the animation playback
- create a round trip from the beginning to the end of the animation and back (ping-pong)
- define the type of acceleration of the animation:
- Linear: the same speed from the beginning to the end
- Ease In: a slow acceleration to an ever-increasing speed
- Ease Out: a fast acceleration to a slower speed
- Ease In out: a slow acceleration to an ever-increasing speed and vice versa
You can disable the "Interpolation" feature by clicking the associated switch button.
Note: You can create as many animations as you want per element.
Once you have defined the animation(s) for your element, you can launch them using the Conditionals.
Note: Video elements with the "Show controller" option enabled cannot be animated.
