As your project's production starts to progress, you'll need the tools that allow you to quickly and easily find your elements in the scene. 🔍
First, make sure your search item is visible.
To do this:
- Go to the element column
- Click the eye icon in front of the element, aspect or group that allows you to "Show/hide an element, aspect or group".
The "Spherical motion" button is active– When you click on an element, aspect or group in the element column while the "Spherical motion" button is active, the camera turns in the direction of the element in question. It is a quick way to find what you are looking for in the scene.
- The "Position", "Rotation" or "Scale" button is active:
- Click the element, aspect or group in the element column
- Click the following button
- Then click "Locate". The camera turns in the direction of the element in question present in the scene.
Search fields
Do you need to identify an element in your element column before finding it in the scene?
To do so, enter the name of an element, aspect or group in the field at the top of the element column. The latter is immediately displayed in the column. Click the element, aspect or group in question to identify it in the scene or use the "Locate" button as shown above.
You can also consult the article on the "Search Engine". This feature allows you to make a more advanced search (elements, aspect, states, implications, etc.) at the project level.
