Standard quiz in Speedernet Sphere

You want to check a user’s knowledge during the experience visualization? Or even create intrigue in your scenario? 🧐

With Speedernet Sphere, you can create different types of questions in just a few clicks:

• True/False (Yes/No)
• MCQ (multiple-choice quiz)
• UCQ (unique-choice quiz)

In Speedernet Sphere, the quiz is considered an item, just like images, sounds, etc. I suggest you watch the video below to discover the “Standard quiz”:

To make a standard quiz, you must first select this type of quiz :

A descriptive message asks you to check if this is the type of quiz you need, and confirm it with a validation button:

By clicking on the first question, you access the content:

Generalities:

First, in “General”, you can write the question’s title itself (first field of the illustration above) and a neutral feedback (without taking into account failure or success).

Possible answers:

Then, you can write the possible answers. To do that, click on the menu “Proposition”:

You can write up to three possible answers, which come with a pictogram in the shape of a “cross” to indicate an answer is incorrect, or in the shape of a “checkmark” to indicate an answer is correct. The learner can check several correct answers.

Then, move to the next question by going back to the main menu. To do that, click on  and repeat those steps to add other questions and answers to your quiz.

Personalization

Sphere quiz is customizable in two ways:

1. From a scenaristic point of view
2. From a graphic point of view

Scenaristic personalization:

The standard quiz offers several options that are useful in developing or adapting this exercise:

1. By checking “Homepage”, a short message or description to give instructions as the quiz introduction will appear: several right answers possible, be careful of the traps, etc.
2. The standard quiz allows you to give global feedback according to the failure or success. You can encourage the learner to review certain parts again before moving to the next module in case of a failure. You can also get good results thanks to the key notions reminder seen in the quiz.
3. You can of course define the pass level of the quiz: is one good answer enough? Is it necessary to pass all questions? A majority of correct answers? You get to pick!
4. By checking “Mandatory success”, the pass level does not count anymore because questions will be asked again to learners until they get them right.
5. By checking “Reset when closed”, you can start the quiz again if the scenario allows it. Otherwise, the reopening of the quiz will only trigger the access to the page results.

Graphic personalization:

1. The quiz includes two colors: a main color and a secondary one. These colors allow you to design the quiz using the colors of the organization or company that will use it.
2. It also includes a defaults fonts menu, as well as an access to propose a new font already installed on the computer.
3. Finally, you can customize the message displayed at the end of the quiz.

You can access this personalization by clicking on the menu “Customization” or “Personalization”:

To change your quiz’s colors, you only need to click on the colored square to make a complete palette appear.

SCORM management on the quiz

You can use the SCORM for your quiz. A numerical variable is attached to each standard quiz. Using a conditional, you can activate the SCORM on the quiz.
