Speedernet Sphere uses a number of file formats for its operation.
Depending on its configuration, an LMS platform or your organization's network infrastructures may not support all of these file formats. As a result, you may experience problems sharing your experience.
File formats used by Sphere
There are 2 groups of file formats used by Sphere:
- Proprietary file formats
- All file formats that can be used in Speedernet Sphere

Integrable “standard” formats in Speedernet Sphere
Among all standard formats, Speedernet Sphere users can integrate and use the formats below in the software.
You can send these tables:
- to the administrator or provider of the LMS platform
- or / and the person in charge of the computer system of your company
Using this format, media and MIME type (technical coding of file formats) information, they will be able to check the support and / or activation of these formats if necessary.
Checking if file formats are taken into account or not
If there is a black screen in a Sphere experience or there is a malfunction on a certain file, the problem may be that the file formats are not supported. To do the test:
- Right click on the experience window
- Click "Inspect" (or "Examine Item" on Firefox Browser)
- Then click on the “Console” tab
- Look in the code:
If the problem comes from the file formats, you will find a red line indicating the 404 error.
On the right of this line, you will find the file format that has not been taken into account.
