You can access the information related to the size of the sphere and the height of the grid when creating a scene in Speedernet Sphere.
To access it, click the following icon in the upper left corner to display the menu.
Then click "Preferences" in the "File" tab.
Once the "Preferences" window is open, go to the "Scene" tab. (1)
You can change the settings of the scenes in your project:
- The size of the sphere (2)
- The height of the grid (3)
The size of the grid (2):
The diameter size of the sphere is 500 meters by default. This means that the size of the scene is large. According to your needs, you can modify this size.
Adjust the size of the sphere either by clicking and dragging the bar or by entering the size of the sphere directly into the field. You can check the modification by entering a scene and activating the "3D View".
The larger the value, the greater the parallax effect can be. The smaller the value, the less noticeable the depth effect is.
The height of the grid (3):
The grid is a marker that allows you to place your elements correctly in a scene. It is positioned at one of the following levels:
- "0.0": places the grid at the user's eye level
- "-1,60": places the grid at ground level
By default, this grid is placed on "0.0". All the objects that you place below this grid will be displayed below the user's eyes and vice versa. To change the height of the grid, simply click one of the two levels.
When you have finished making changes, click "Apply" and then "OK" to validate the changes.
See you soon in the next tutorial 😀
